Hubbard's Cupboard is an awesome website. I use many of the Word Family and Sight Word booklets she has available. These books are great for fluency practice and homework resources.
Visit Carl's Corner. Carl's Corner is a website created by a primary grade teacher. Many of her activities available could be used for students in grades K-1. Many of her word family acitivities are geared towards a first grade level, so if your child needs more challenging homework, I may be sending some of these activities home instead.You can help our class!

We can always use donations of snacks like goldfish crackers, animal crackers, etc.
Volunteering
If you have an approved volunteer form on file with the school, I can always use help. Some of the voulunteer tasks could include:
Listen to a student read books.
Use flash cards with a child.
Help me put graded papers in the student mailboxes.
Help me monitor during centers.
Chaperone on a field trip.
Do a special craft project with a small group of students.
If you can't come in, I can send materials home with you so you can help me prepare for special projects.
